Green afternoon

Another beautiful day this week, I like it because the sun is out and warm, but we still get a cool breeze. The day is perfect to work on our backyard (Specially my boyfriend Rafa). This dress is the potatoes sack from American Apparel, they don’t sell it anymore but I still have it. I got this top on a trip a made couple days ago to forever XXI.  No make-up no worries just pretty green surrounding me.

Otro día hermoso esta semana, el sol calentito y sopla una brisita fría. Día perfecto para arreglar el patio. (Especialmente Rafa mi novio). Este vestido es de American Apparel aunque no lo crean se llama la bolsa de papas, ya no lo venden mas pero yo todavía lo tengo. El top lo compre hace dos dias cuando fui a foverer XXI. Sin maquillaje sin preocupaciones solo rodeada de árboles verde.

I haven't been posting so much but here I am. I love long skirts, this one I found at Kohl's; by the way I love to shop at Kohl's (I didn't get pay to said that), they got great prices and very pretty stuff. The t-shirt is an old t-shirt I cut. I love cutting t-shirts, if is too long just grab the scissors and cut it up.

The instruments that I am playing with belong to my boyfriend, the bigger looking guitar is call a "Cuatro" and it is a typical instrument form Venezuela.  The smaller looking guitar is a "Ukulele" which is a typical instrument from Hawai.

Hola tengo tiempo que no escribo, pero no significa que no existo. Como las otras bloogeras saben, hacer post es bastante trabajoso y para mi lo mas dificil es que yo trabajo desde mi casa, quiere decir que aunque me arreglo todos los dias casi no salgo para tener fondos diferentes, pero bueno aqui les traigo este post de mi estilo mas reciente, me encantan las faldas largas y las camisas corticas. Esta falda la encontre en Kohl's y me encanta los colores. La franela la corte yo misma; si la franela esta muy larga no tengas miedo de agarrar las tijera y cortala, a mi a veces me da miedo cortar las franelas pero despues pienso pero si no me la voy a poner y se va a quedar guardada en my closet para eso la corto y me la pongo.

Los instrumentos con que estoy jugando son de mi novio. El cuatro Venezolano y el Ukulele instrumento clasico de Hawai. 

Quiero tomar la oportunidad de agradecer a dos bloggeras que me han mantenido inspirada todo este tiempo que no estado activa con mis post.

I made I little trip to the Florida forest and found myself worshiping the sun.

Where the hippie Movement started

I got this pants at Haight St. in San Francisco on The tibetan gift corner store, if you are not familiar with Haight st. it is a famous street where the Hippie movement developed in the 1960, there is a bunch of cool stores in the street and hippies that come from all over the states. The pants are made of jersey fabric and they are super soft. I am wearing it with a top from Zara, a corduroy Blazer from H&M, the bag is vintage and the shoes are from Zara. The lipstick is Rebel from Mac.

Compre estos pantalones en la tienda Tibetana en la calle Haight de San Francisco, esta calle es muy famosa por su influencia en el desarrollo de el movimiento hippie en los años 60, en esa calle hay un monton de tiendas super cheveres, tambien tiendas de segunda y puedes ver hippies que vienen de todo el pais. Los pantalones son de algodon y son super suavecitos. Me los puse con una camisa de basicos de Zara una chaqueta de pana de H&M, la cartera es de segunda y los zapatos de Zara. El labial es de Mac se llama Rebel.

Lunes Hippie! Me encanta estar en faldas y esta es una de mis muchas faldas de amarrar, son hechas en India y son  super suaves y comodas. The hot pink skirt, from a California deigner

I got this skirt at SXSW- StyleX in Austin Texas, on this convention I got to meet a bunch of people from the fashion industry, they give talks about tips and tricks about the fashion industry, blogging and more.  I got the skirt from Effies Heart at the expo, their store had the cutest dresses from the whole show. This skirt is actually a dress, you can wear it both ways. The blouse is from TJmaxx, the shoes from zara and the bell is from White House Black Market.

Esta falda la compre en SXSW StyleX en Austin Texas, que es una convencion en donde conoci un monton de gente de la industria de la moda, en la convencion dan charlas de la industria de la moda y del mundo del el internet. En el expo compre la falda de la tiendita de Effies Heart, los vestidos mas lindos estaban ahi. Esta falda es un vestido que tambien se puede poner de las dos maneras. La blusa es de TJMaxx, los zapatos de Zara y la correa de White House Black Market.
Combina colores y texturas mira que bonito se ve.

Gold skirt and Black blouse

Got this skirt on the Good Will boutique in Winter Park, the skirt was brand new it had the tag but it look vintage, like it was made in the 80's or 90's. I think the skirt is gorgeous. The blouse is simply from forever XXI and the shoes are $25 at Zara's.

Esta falda la consegui en la tienda de segunda, la falda tenia las etiquetas pero se notaba que fue hecha en los 80 o 90. A mi me parece hermosa. La blusa es de forever XXI y los zapatos de Zara en oferta por $25.

Inspire by Paris fashion week

Inspired by fashion week, but being unable to assist I was determined to experience the glamour of such an event. I went to the vintage store and found this beautiful dress and fell in love with it. I know it looks like a wedding dress, but I think that is not fair that you can't wear a white dress, because everybody thing you are getting married. I can wear a white dress and no, I am not getting married!...  ;)

Super inspirada por Paris fashion week, pero sin poder assistir estaba determinada a expimentar el glamour de ese evento aqui en Orlando. Me fui a la tienda de segunda mano y encontre este vestido. Yo se que se parece un vestido de novia, pero me parece injusto que uno no se puede porner un vestido blanco porque todo el mundo cree que te estas casando. Yo si me puedo poner un vestido blanco y no me estoy casando!...;)

The Imperial

I love having drinks on this amazing bar in the heart of Orlando call "The Imperial", this place sells furniture from all over the world, it is pretty cool.

I am wearing a blazer that I got at the Goodwill clearance store where they sell the clothes by weight, it pretty much cost me about .50c, the shorts are from forever XXI, the top is from Zara basics and the sandals are San Edelman.  Girls, don't be afraid of thrift stores, someone's trash can be someone else's treasure!


Me tome estas fotos en el bar el Imperial, me encanta este bar. Venden muebles de todos lados del mundo es super chevere.
Aqui llevo puesto un blazer que compre en la tienda de ropa de segunda Good Will en la parte donde la ropa es aun mas barata por que venden la ropa por peso. El blazer me costo $.50, los shores son de forever XXI, la blusa de Zara basicos y las sandalias de San Edelman.
No le tengan miedo a la tienda de segunda mano, lo que para una persona es desecho para otra puede ser un tesoro!

The Come back

I miss blogging, and I hope you miss me too. I was working pretty hard on graduating and them I got immerse on the Burning man festival, which I have to tell you more about it later.

So I am back, I when shopping and I got the blouse and the skirt at forever XXI for about $30. I was pretty happy with the price, them I add some accessories, ASOS shoes them I was ready. 


Ya estaba extrañando blogean, espero que tambien me ayan extrañadon un poquito... Nesecitaba tiempo para estudia y graduarme y despues que termine la universidad me envolvi en un festival al cual fui que se llama Burning Man despues les cuento mas de esa experiencia.
Bueno esta semana fui de compras y consegui esta falda y blusa en Forever XXI por menos de $30 super barato. Aqui lo llevo con unos accesorios dorados y mis zapatos de ASOS y listo.
